Reflexology for Fertility
.jpg) The Association of Reflexologists believe that reflexology can be of considerable benefit to clients who are having problems with their Fertility. Although there appears to be no substantiated research into the effectiveness of reflexology it has been suggested that up to 50% of clients find themselves pregnant within 6 months of commencing treatment.
The reflexologists approach would be to help reduce stress and promote hormonal balance in order that the body can obtain optimum health. By creating the best environment possible in body mind and spirit conception is more likely to occur.
There are few contraindications to having reflexology for infertility. There is no evidence that reflexology can have a detrimental or negative effect on a client who is undergoing a course of infertility treatment. Drugs such as Clomid do not appear to be affected. Reflexology during a course of treatment can be supportive in helping to relieve the stress.
Treatments
Treatments are tailored to where you are in your menstrual cycle and/or if you are having Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) such as IVF (Invitro Fertilization), IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) and Egg Donation etc. Regular treatments are recommended to imrprove and sustain hormonal balance.
Reflexology and Hypnotherapy
It is my experience that Reflexology and Hypnotherapy work particularly well together and therefore I offer the option of having combined treatments. There is a strong link between mind and body.
